The Church
St. Spyridon Church is a petite picturesque church located directly on the waterfront with Zakynthos town as your backdrop. This old church will hold fond memories of your Orthodox wedding foremost for emotional and religious reasons but also for the romantic location it offers.
Your family photos will be in perfect frame especially during sunset hours. This church holds an estimated 40 persons indoors and a larger amount outdoors.
Zakynthos island has hundreds of churches but this is our favorite one. Reasons being that it is easy to access by road and buses. Near enough distance for our recommended reception venues one of them being Utopia which is a further 10 minutes away thus saving valuable time in transportation on the day.
When wanting an Orthodox wedding both bride and groom need to be baptised in this religion to be able to qualify for a marriage in the church. Our priest is a lovely man that takes very good care of our couples. The ceremony is conducted in Greek only. The one hour service includes communion, the exchanging of the crowns and the Isaiah walk around which are very unique to this religion.
To make your guests comfortable in the heat we offer a vintage drink station outside to refresh them while they wait for the ceremony to finish. Our luxury decoration of flowers allows for your wedding to be the talk of town.

Utopia (The Venue)
This reception being so close to the church allows for a convenient stress free day. The 10 min drive will allow your guests to arrive at the reception before you do enjoying their drinks and canapés while you are taken to nearby locations for your photography shoot. Located on the seafront gives fantastic sunset views of Zakynthos Town.
This private venue can be yours until 11 pm and further enjoyment of music inside afterwards. A big variety of buffets are on offer as well as a drinks package during the meal. The carnival festive lights overhead give it a romantic twinkle for the evening. The evening breeze gives extra comfort to your guests from the long hot day.
